Have 4+ years of experience in Data Warehousing/Enterprise Business Intelligence. Worked mainly in Reporting side using BI tools BusinessObjectsXI R1/R2/R3, Crystal Reports and Crystal Xcelsius. Also, have some experience in BusinessObjects XI 3.1 and SAP Integration. Have good understanding of Data Warehousing concepts.

I did projects involving design of Data Mart, development of static and ad-hoc reports, support and maintenance to Enterprise Datawarehouse Applications. Also, have some experience in writing Test Cases for Application and Integration Test for the Data Warehousing applications. BOBJ-SAP Integration (DuPont, Brazil)

I am part of this project where I'm mainly involved with BusinessObjects-SAP Integration. I'm involved with following activities:


- integrating BusinessObjects XI 3.1 with SAP for creating reports using SAP BW as data source
- setting up SAP Authentication and Aliasing SAP users with BusinessObjects Enterprise Users using Central Management Console to achieve Single-Sign-On
- documenting each and every steps as a part of deliverables
- helping team in creation of OLAP Universe (using SAP BEx Queries)
- helping team in creation of different Web Intelligence reports using OLAP Universes and finally using this WebI Reports in creating Xcelsius Visualizations using Live Office

I was involved with Universe Design and Development for both standard and ad hoc reporting. Created one Profit & Loss Report for this project which was having almost 2200 objects in it.

 

As a part of this project, I did following things:
- come up with design deliverables for Universe & Report
- did the build for Universe & Report
- manage very small team from offshore for BOBJ Team
- creating RFC for moving code from one environment to another
- interfacing with client

I was involved with development of new Crystal and WebI Reports using BusinessObjects XI R2.

 

As a part of this project, I did following things:
- Worked independently from off shore for report development

This project was mainly to create a Data Mart for the data coming from Aprimo tool and using this Data Mart for the creating different analysis reports.


I was mainly involved with:
- DataMart Design
- Universe Design
- prepared the deliverables for the design phase which includes both for DataMart and Universe Design.

Report Foundation Project (Best Buy, Canada)

This project was mainly a creation of new BusinessObjects OLAP reports and replacing old Cognos OLAP reports for various applications.


I was mainly involved with:
- writing Unit Test Cases for various applications like cubes and report and also for Integration Test(sources to various reports)

Enterprise Data warehousing Support (Best Buy, Canada)

This project was mainly providing support for Datawarehousing applications, like Reports in BusinessObjects XI, Crystal Reports.


As a part of this project, I did following things:
- mainly doing ticket resolving things. Tickets were mainly regarding problems in BusinessObjects and Crystal Reports. Identifying the problem and fixing them and also meeting SLA defined by client
- did some enhancement work
- preparing and maintaining Weekly Status Repots (WSR) and Daily Status Reports (DSR)

This project was a pre-existing applications made out of BI tool Microstrategy and had to convert it in BusinessObjects (making static reports using Crystal Reports).


As a part of this project, I did following things:
- involved with the development of new crystal reports and achieving the same functionality as it was in MSTR.
- created RDDs (Report Design Documents) for new reports
- designed and developed the new reports
- preparing and doing the Unit Testing
- interfacing with the onsite team

This project was mainly a development of an application in order to focus on particular segment of customers.


My efforts for this project were:
- understanding the existing Universe and making changes to it as per the requirement
- making reports in Web Intelligence

MENSC and E-Compass (Best Buy, US)

MENSC and E-Compass were pre-existing applications made out of BI tool Microstrategy. These projects were to migrate them to BusinessObjects(static report using Crystal Reports).


My efforts for this project were:
- to learn the existing functionality from MSTR tool and apply the same functionality while making reports using BOBJ.
- created RDDs (Report Design Documents) for new reports
- designed and developed the new reports
- preparing and doing the Unit Testing
